Sesame Paste & Sesame Oil Aseptic Bags: A Full-Range 2.5L-20L Solution
The Challenge
A condiment producer needed a full packaging range for sesame paste and sesame oil - aseptic bags in four sizes (2.5L/5L/10L/20L), from bags to equipment.
The two products have completely different requirements: sesame paste has high oil content and ordinary film cannot block oil, causing migration over time; sesame oil is oxygen-sensitive and prone to rancidity; both are highly viscous, so narrow closures make filling and dispensing slow and leave residue.
What We Did
- All sizes in one package: 2.5L/5L/10L/20L, covering everything from small packs to food-service bulk.
- Film matched to each oil type: a high-viscosity sauce structure (wide mouth + large valve) for sesame paste, handling both oil barrier and dispensing; a high-barrier film against rancidity for oxygen-sensitive sesame oil.
- Equipment retrofit support: the customer's existing line needs modification - filling fixtures to fitting dimensions are decided together; equipment adaptation discussion started on May 24.
The Result
- ✓Samples sent; the customer's existing line needs equipment modification, and the solution is now in the equipment adaptation stage.
- ✓Not yet in production - but the hand-holding has already started, from filling fixtures to fitting sizes.
