With the arrival of March, the forest is gradually awakening. For the birch sap industry, this is a special time - there is less than a month until the official start of the 2026 collection season. For QiChen Packaging, this means a full-scale delivery battle against time is underway.

Entering the QiChen Packaging production base in Wuxi, the sound of machines and the hustle and bustle of workers are immediately heard. From raw material storage to bag production, from interface installation to quality inspection and packaging, every workstation is operating at full capacity. The piles of finished products waiting to be dispatched and the trucks queuing in the logistics area all silently convey the same message: The collection season is approaching, and QiChen Packaging is ready.


1. Full production lines: 16-hour continuous operation, ready for 24-hour production

To meet the concentrated delivery demands of the 2026 collection season, QiChen Packaging initiated a capacity expansion plan at the end of last year. Currently, all bag production lines in the base are operating in 16-hour double shifts, with plans to soon launch 24-hour triple shifts to further increase production capacity.

In the bag production workshop, automated bag-making machines are running at high speed. From film roll feeding to heat sealing and forming, from interface welding to palletizing and packaging, each process is monitored by dedicated personnel to ensure that every bag meets the factory standards. With the continuous increase in orders, we are actively adjusting personnel to ensure the smooth launch of 24-hour triple shifts.

We have calculated that to meet the order demands of this year's collection season, an average of hundreds of thousands of collection bags need to be dispatched from here every day. This is no easy task, but our team is confident - because every minute, the production line is accelerating towards this goal.


2. Quality control: Making "reassurance" a standard for every product

While production capacity is increasing, quality control has never been relaxed.

At QiChen Packaging, there is an unwritten rule: products that fail quality inspection are not allowed to enter or leave the warehouse.

Every batch of products undergoes three levels of inspection:

First, incoming material inspection. Every roll of film delivered from the factory is subject to random checks for thickness, appearance, and hygiene before being allowed into the production line.

Second, in-line sampling. Every hour, random samples are taken from the production line for sealing tests (negative pressure tests), thickness checks, and appearance inspections. If any indicator deviates from the standard, the entire batch is immediately halted for investigation.

Third, final inspection before shipment. Before packaging, all bags undergo double screening by both humans and machines to ensure there are no black spots, impurities, or damage. Especially for the 【Qinon lll】Aseptic collection bag, each one undergoes independent appearance and sealing tests.


3. Warehousing and logistics: Ensuring every shipment arrives on time

The products produced must eventually reach the customers. And this journey is equally crucial.

In the finished goods warehouse, collection bags are neatly stacked and sorted by customer, specification, and shipping time. Each pallet of finished goods is labeled with a prominent box code - this is the entry point to the "Birch Juice Source Traceability" system and the "digital ID" of each box of bags.

In the logistics area, the shipping list shows destinations across core production areas such as Heilongjiang, Jilin, and Inner Mongolia. The farthest batch of goods will be dispatched to a forest farm deep in the Greater Khingan Range in three days.

"The customers have already started preparing the mountains, and the bags must be in place before the sap collection begins," said logistics supervisor Old Wang while checking the shipping list. "We now arrange for loading as soon as the goods are in the warehouse. The earlier we send them out, the more time the customers have to prepare." To cope with the peak of concentrated shipments, the Qichen Logistics team has initiated a "7×24-hour response mechanism". No matter when customers place orders, the logistics plan will be followed up in real time; no matter how far the destination is, priority will be given to arranging dedicated line delivery.


4. Customer Testimonials: Trust is the Best Feedback

Our current busyness actually demonstrates that our customers have great trust in us. Over the past month, Qichen has received bulk orders from both long-term customers and new partners. Some are upgrading their collection equipment this year, some are trying out the brand-new "Qihua III" material, and others are synchronously activating the "Hua Zhi Yuan Zong" traceability system.

A collection team leader from Jilin said over the phone, "We have expanded our collection area this year, and the demand for bags has doubled compared to last year. We compared several options and finally chose Qichen. It's not for any other reason; it's just that we feel at ease using them."
